Bothell hugs both north King County and south Snohomish County. There are a number of notable areas including Canyon Creek, the Canyon Park business district, North Creek, Maywood and Mays Pond, Queensgate, The Highlands, Thrasher’s Corner, and of course, Downtown.
Both Cascadia College and branch of the University of Washington can be found in Bothell. Schools for grades K-12 are part of the Northshore School District.
In terms of events, Bothell is home to the Freedom Festival, the summer Music in the Park series, Riverfest, the Harvest Festival and Pumpkin Carving, and the Tree Lighting and Santa Arrival at Bothell Landing. Bothell also has a number of parks and gathering places including North Creek Forest, Wallace Swamp Creek Park, Sammamish River Park, Blyth Park, and Wayne Golf Course.
